Delphi Construction President Speaks at ABX Boston Conference

Jake Simmons Joined by Delphi Project Manager Corey Heaslip Presents Workshop on Employee Mentoring

WALTHAM, MASSACHUSETTS – November 15, 2015 – Delphi Construction President, Jake Simmons accepted an invitation to represent Delphi Construction as a conference session presenter at ABX15.

The annual expo and conference is the leading building industry event in the northeast. The event is presented each year by the Boston Society of Architects and was held at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center.

Simmons, whose own company has experienced tremendous growth since its inception in 1992 and employs nearly 80 full time personnel with offices in Waltham and Cape Cod Massachusetts spoke on the topic of employee mentoring as a means to organizational growth, employee development and increased employee satisfaction.

The talk and accompanying PowerPoint presentation were aimed at helping other construction industry leaders implement and utilize a mentoring approach within their organizations.

Joining Simmons, was Corey Heaslip, a Project Manager at Delphi. Heaslip who started as a skilled laborer at the company, shared his personal experience with Delphi’s internal employee mentoring program and the role that mentoring played in helping him rise through the ranks at Delphi.
